Leeds captain Danny McGuire could make his return to action in Fridays game against Hull KR at Headingley. McGuire has been named in the 19-man squad and could play his first game since round one.
The Leeds captain was included in the squad ahead of the St. Helens game 2 weeks ago but suffered an injury setback in training, which saw him miss the win over the Saints as well as the defeats to Castleford and Wakefield over the Easter weekend. His return would be a welcome boost for a Rhinos side who are currently sitting in 10th position and massively short of form and confidence.
Brian McDermott also has second rowers Carl Ablett and Brett Delaney available for selection again after they both picked up injuries at Castleford last Thursday.
The Rhinos are still without Ryan Hall and Stevie Ward through injury with Brad Singleton and Jordan Lilley dropping out of the squad that fell short against Wakefield on Monday. Brett Ferres also misses out for the second game in succession.
The squad in full is:
Zak Hardaker, Tom Briscoe, Kallum Watkins, Joel Moon, Danny McGuire, Rob Burrow, Keith Galloway, Beau Falloon, Adam Cuthbertson, Jamie Jones-Buchanan, Carl Ablett, Liam Sutcliffe, Brett Delaney, Mitch Garbutt, Jimmy Keinhorst, Mitch Achurch, Anthony Mullally, Josh Walters, Ash Handley.
