6. Gareth Widdop (St George Illawarra)
Widdop is till the best and most experience half-back out there for England. With almost 150 NRL appearances to his name, the 27-year old knows how to get under the Aussie’s and the Kiwi’s skin. He is England’s most capped half-back and just the sort of player the international side needs to guide them around the park.
Youngster George Williams would be unlucky to miss out, but England may benefit from having him in the squad.
7. Marc Sneyd (Hull FC)
Sneyd has been sensational for Hull FC this season. After a poor start for the Black & Whites in 2015, he has rightfully earned his chance to represent his country. He has been the main cog in the side, and this was reflected in winning the Lance Todd Trophy at Wembley after setting up both tries and kicking a game changing 40/20.
