14. Danny Houghton (Hull FC)
There is a lot of injustice in the world, a lot of which could be solved if Danny Houghton FINALLY makes his international debut this Autumn. There is speculation he may choose to play for Scotland, but should he be selected for England, this would top of the 28-year old’s best season to date. He isn’t ahead of Josh Hodgson, with many fans split between him and Dayrl Clark for a bench spot. Looks like the Challenge Cup saviour for Hull edges it for our writers.
14. Scott Taylor (Hull FC)
The fact that no Hull FC players were selected to play for England this time last year shows how far the club has come in 2016, with as many as 4 players that could potentially make the 17 man squad. Taylor has been sensational since joining his hometown club in 2016. Himself and Chris Hill have been the best 2 English props in the competition.
16. George Burgess (South Sydney)
The 24-year old has continued to develop in 2016 and is on the road to becoming a superstar. Following in the footsteps of his older brother, the pair will have a massive impact on the England side.
17. Liam Farrell
26-year old Farrell has gone somewhat under the radar this season but should still find himself in the 17. He is at the prime age of a rugby league player at this moment in time and can hopefully show some of the class he found in the tri-series vs New Zealand last year.
