Wakefield Trinity Wildcats have announced the signing of Mason Caton-Brown on a two-year deal; he will link up with Chris Chester for pre season at the end of the year.
The winger has signed for Trinity on a two-year deal from Super League side Salford Red Devils after making 37 appearances.
Caton-Brown started his professional career at London Broncos before going on dual-registration to Hemel Stags in 2013. After leaving the Broncos in 2014 the 23-year old signed for Salford on a two and a half year deal.
Head Coach, Chris Chester spoke of the recent signing saying, “Mason will be a great addition to Wakefield, he is a quick and powerful player and I am looking forward to working with him next season.
“It is a great signing for us and it will give us fresh competition in the outside backs which is great for us as a club.”
Mason Caton-Brown said, “I am excited for the new challenge at Wakefield, it is a great club. I am looking forward to working with Chris Chester and the team to build on the season they’ve had and to push myself further as a player.”
