This weekend see’s rugby league head to Coventry in a double header of matches starting with England v Scotland and then Australia vs New Zealand.
After last week’s one point loss to New Zealand , England will be looking to get back to t winning ways against Scotland. The Scottish lost to a very strong and confident Australian side last week 54-12 in East Hull.
England know that Scotland will be giving it everything they have got and will be looking to become the first “4th” nation team to get a win in this competition.
Both teams will need to improve on a number of different elements if they are to succeed on Saturday. The most important issue England need to cover is having their ablility to keep calm. This was seen last week against the Kiwis, and against a low ranked team they will try to take it easy, however if they do take it easy they will most certainly risk conceding in this match something that will make the Scottish far stronger.
Scotland will need to keep a very tight and controlled defence as seen against Australia. They have the try scoring ability and the determination to overcome England and cause the biggest upset in rugby league history.
