After the Bradford Bulls announced their latest administration, former Bradford City joint-chairman Mark Lawn has revealed to Sky Sports News that he wishes to save the club.
The Bulls, who are in the hands of administrators for the third time in less than five years as a result of a long-running dispute with Her Majesty’s Revenue and Customs.
The Championship club’s chairman Marc Green said this week he has “been talking to a number of serious investors” and predicted a “strong future”.
He revealed to Sky Sports News HQ: “I wouldn’t like to see the Bulls go out of business. If there is anything I can do to stop that happening, then I’ll try my best.”
During Lawn’s time at Bradford City, the club were promoted to League One and reached the League Cup final in the same season.
