Over the last two weeks we have conducted a #TwitterPoll on our Twitter page asking fans where they think the 12 Super League teams will finish in the 2017 Betfred Super League table.
We asked fans each morning where in the table a specific team would finish split into three votes, 1st to 4th, 5th to 8th and 9th to 12th. Followed by an afternoon vote of the winning category of an exact position
We received a total of 11,546 votes over the 12 days of voting with Leeds Rhinos (1,201) and Wakefield Trinity (1,323) receiving the most votes on their specific poll.
Fans on Twitter were certain Wigan Warriors and Warrington Wolves would be in top 4 of the table both receiving 81% of the daily vote. While 77% were adamant Leigh Centurions would finish in the bottom 4 of the table but not rock bottom of the league.
Althought no team was voted with an outright top spot the Warriors received a 32% of a 433 vote giving them the coveted top spot.
Compared to the 2016 table the biggest mover would be Leeds Rhinos who finished 9th and predicted to finish 6th by the Twitter public, with the Giants also escaping the bottom four with taking the majority of the vote of those voted to finish in 10th
