Former premiers winner and Wakefield Trinity prop forward Scott Anderson has come out of retirement to sign for Sunshine Coast Falcons
Anderson, 30, has played more than 150 first grade games in the NRL and Super League and looked set for the sidelines after announcing this retirement from rugby league.
Anderson will now feature in the Intrust Super Cup announced the Sunshine Coast Falcons CEO Chris Flannery.
“To sign someone of Scott’s calibre to the Falcons is a real coup for us and shows that we are heading in the right direction,” Falcons head coach Craig Ingebrigtsen said.
“It’s not every day that a front-rower with over 150 first grade games and an NRL premiership comes onto the market and we are very excited about securing his services for the next two years.”
