As the year comes to an end, it’s now time to vote for your favourite Mascot in 2016 in the annual Super League Mascot of the Year Awards.
The Super League Mascot of the Year campaign makes its debut on The18thMan following two successful years since the award was introduced, allowing fans to vote for their favourite Mascot.
The Mascot of the Year campaign made its debut back in 2015, and has gone on to see thousands of fans get involved and vote, including official club’s social media sites and various club Chairmen.
Two-time winner Rufus the Robin also had the limelight in Hull KR’s official website, pictured below.

“Being a Mascot means everything, to represent the club I love means the world to me,” Hull KR Mascot Rufus the Robin explained.
“I love meeting all our amazing fans, young and old, and it’s great to attend community events in the local area as well!”
Asked what is in store for the Robins next year in the Championship, Rufus replied: “I think we have an exciting fresh team who will put right the wrongs of last season if we have better luck with injuries….the luck can’t get any worse.”
Rufus has won the past two Super League Mascot of the Year Awards, but who will win this year’s title?
“Being the Mascot is the best gig going,” added Wolfie, the Warrington Wolves mascot.
“The adults are the biggest kids going but I have one act for the kids and a risky one for the adults. Nothing like seeing them laugh at my crowd participation antics.
“Next year will be 21 years for me and for Wolfie to be accepted as part and parcel of game day. It’s fantastic even though the fans have always wanted Wire and not Wolves.
“They have been outstanding and very often make me laugh with their banter. They showed their appreciation of me in the club survey which I am greatly appreciative off.”
