Kevin Larroyer set to retire
Former Hull KR man Kevin Larroyer could be forced to retire, according to the League Express. The 27-year old is currently unemployed following his release from the Robins at the end of the season.
The French international says he is in a “critical position” after his contract became null and void following the clubs relegation to the Championship, and after recently buying a house in the UK could be forced to quit the game if he doesn’t find a club before the start of the 2017 season.
Wakefield to reject Wire’s approach for Miller
Wakefield are preparing to reject a move from Warrington to sign Aussie half-back Jacob Miller. Wire are searching for a replacement for Chris Sandow, and the 24-year old is said to be at the top of the list.
However the club are adamant that the player is not for sale. Meanwhile, Trinity are close to announcing the signing of Mitch Allgood from Hull KR.
Ben Harrison to Leigh still on?
Leigh are still hopeful of completing the signing of Warrington forward Ben Harrison, according to the League Express.
Harrison hasn’t been included in the club’s squad list for 2017 and Neil Jukes still believes they can get the signing over the line.
