Souths preparing bid for Williams?
League Weekly are reporting that George Williams could be heading to South Sydney in 2018, with the club currently preparing a huge bid for the England youngster.
The 2015 Young Player of the Year however, will be part of a battle for his signature, with the Warrington Wolves also preparing a move for the player.
Williams has made 84 appearances for the Warriors since his debut in 2013, and is considered one of the brightest young talents in Super League at this time.
Carney heading back to former club?
Could Justin Carney be on his way back to the Jungle? League Weekly are also reporting that the winger could be about to fill the void left by Denny Solomona.
This would be one of the more shocking moves for the 2017 season, given the player’s past relationship with the club, and with certain m,embers of the squad.
The Salford man made 67 appearances for the Tigers between 2013 and 2016, and scored a remarkable 72 tires. He signed for the Devils at the start of last season after a fierce battle with the likes of Hull FC for his signature.
Clare another Tigers target?
James Clare is also being linked with a move back to the Castleford Tigers in 2017. The winger left Castleford at the end of the 2015 season to join the Bradford Bulls, and has gone on to make 30 appearance for the Championship club.
The 25-year old is Castleford born and was a fans favourite during his time at the Jungle, and could be a somewhat easier replacement that Justin Carney for Denny Solomona.
