Rochdale have announced their Home and Away kits for the 2017 season.
Rochdale Hornets will again don their traditional red, white and blue hoops in 2017, but this time there will be a unique twist. The outside of the hoops will be lined with a thin gold piping to represent the 2016 Kingstone Press League One title win back in September. It sees a classic design interlink with modern success to give the supporters a gentle reminder of how far the club has come over the past few years.
The alternate shirt again picks up a historic Hornets number and turns it on its head with a charcoal grey design with sky blue trim to bring it to life. It will be accompanied by charcoal and blue shorts and socks and will get its first airing at Bower Fold when we take on Oldham Roughyeds in the Law Cup on 22nd January.
The 2017 kits will see a new name on the front in TBA Protective Technologies whilst Ensign also join the party and take the back shoulder patch whilst Molesworth’s, Emma Conway Training, Red Butterfly Bakery, Walk Right Podiatry, Colour Copier Company and of course, The Quirky Catering Co. return for 2017.
Hornets Director, Luke Harrison said: “I am made up with the work Surridge have done to provide us with two fantastic designs for 2017. It’s going to be a huge year for us and Surridge have also explained how important it is for them to showcase their product at a higher level in the Championship.”
“It’s been a long and arduous process getting these designs signed off and over the line ready for Christmas and I would like to thank members for their patience. Surridge have been incredibly supportive throughout the design period and for me personally it’s the first time I’ve worked on a project of this scale and it’s great to see it now in the flesh.
“There will also be a brand new range of off field wear available in the new year, possibly February, ready for the start of the season. Surridge have designed a bespoke line for us and it is really smart, I think it’s something the members will love”.
Pre orders on kit are being taken now and delivery will be ready in time for Christmas.
