We’re just three weeks into the new season and already we have had some pretty surprising results. Whether it be Leigh defeating St Helens or Catalans toppling Hull FC at the KCOM, this season really has gone to show that anyone can beat anyone. However, we will still valiantly attempt to predict what will happen in the latest full round of Super League fixtures in this topsy-turvy campaign.

Castleford Tigers v Leeds Rhinos
The Tiger’s victory over Warrington at the Halliwell Jones Stadium last week was mightily impressive. Players, coaches, and pundits alike have all tipped Castleford tigers as dark horses for this year’s competition and, if they keep performing like they did against the Wolves, they will be a formidable team to stop.
Leeds have also had a solid start to the season and they too claimed a narrow 20-14 over Salford last week thanks to a dubious refereeing decision for Liam Sutcliffe’s match winning try. Of course, in a Yorkshire derby, anything can happen, but the Tigers are riding on the crest of a wave and show little sign of showing any chinks in their armour as they continue their charge at the League summit.
Tip: Leeds Rhinos +10 points at Evens
Huddersfield Giants v Hull FC
At the start of the season, many would’ve predicted Rick Stone’s side to be languishing towards the foot of the table. However, two wins from three suggest that they are a better equipped team than perhaps first suggested, yet a visit from Hull FC will perhaps be their biggest challenge to date.
In contrast, Lee Radford’s men will have been very disappointed to have lost in a tight match against the Dragons last weekend, and he will be hoping that his side can bounce back in style at the John Smith’s stadium.
The game will be an extremely tight one, but the return of Albert Kelly, who was suspended for FC’s last match, might tip the balance in the visiting sides favour.
Result: Huddersfield Giants +6 at evens
