The Rugby Football League has today held the individual player disciplinary hearing into the Ladbrokes Challenge Cup tie between Fryston Warriors and Keighley Cougars.
The following players have been charged and issued with the following punishments by the Rugby Football League:
Davey Dixon – Grade A Punching – Guilty Plea – One Match Suspension & £75 fine
Emmersoon Whittel – Grade C Running In & Punching – Adjourned until next Tuesday at Emmerson’s request
Adam Rothwell – Grade A Punching – Early Guilty Plea – No Suspension
Jack Lee – Grade B Entering The Field Of Play Without Permission – Early Guilty Plea – One Match Suspension
Craig Jones – Grade B Running In & Punching – Early Guilty Plea – One Match Suspension
Ben Strong – Grade C Running In & Punching – Early Guilty Plea – Two Match Suspension
Andy Speake – Grade D Running In & Punching – Guilty Plea – Four Match Suspension
Sean Gee pleaed guilty to Grade F Running In & Punching and has been banned from Rugby League at all levels until May 2nd.
Steve Scott pleaded guilty to Grade F Running In & Punching and Grade F Kicking and has been banned from Rugby League at all levels until June 30th.
Keighley Cougars can confirm that the investigation into the off-field actions of the Fryston Warriors and the ear bite on Josh Lynam is still ongoing and no futher comment will be made until the Rugby Football League has concluded its investigation and submitted a full conclusive report.
