Fullback – Darnell McIntosh
The full-backs was the first of the difficult choices; however, not many of them truly stood out, but if one had to be selected, it had to be Huddersfield Giants youngster Darnell McIntosh.
McIntosh came onto the scene if the heavy defeat against Hull last month but since, has arguably become one of the Giants’ hottest prospects.
Scoring two of the three tries in Huddersfield’s comeback, this is somewhat a testament of his development.
The rising star also managed up to four tackles busts as well as notching up a total of 110 metres over 16 carries as part of his contribution.
Clearly an asset for his side, he helped his side comeback against all the odds to attain a valuable point and now arguably, the final nail in Keiron Cunningham’s coffin following the latter’s sacking.
The Giants may have restored home in avoiding relegation or is it a one off?!
